The Fish Dog chills out on her favorite resting spot after a hard day out. Aspen is getting to be an old-timer in dog years, but still has a lot of zip and is always ready to hit a river to chase smallmouth or steelhead, her favorite fish.

- Greetings from the Fish Dog! I'm a 13 year old yellow lab and grew up fly fishing. My boss, JD, is a well-known Great Lakes area fly fisherman and guide. He has over 40 years of experience in fresh and salt water, has been featured several books and flims about Great Lakes area fly fishing, and has authored numerous articles on a variety of fly fishing subjects. He is also a fly tier with numerous patterns to his credit and is recognized as a speaker and instructor throughout the area.
