Nice Ohio Brown!

A big dog friend "woof" for Buck Juhasz who shows a nice brown trout taken on a nymph from Ohio's Mad River on a warm September afternoon. Several smaller fish were caught on dries the same evening. Buck is well appointed in his Reinvest and Watermaster Waders. The Mad River, located in the rolling hills of Champaign County in western Ohio, is fed by numerous springs that keep the water temperature low enough to support trout year round. Some natural reproduction does occur, but the Ohio Division of Wildlife stocks brown trout fingerlings to maintain the trout population.
