During the initial R&D phase, the Crawpin tempted JD's largest redfish ever on a fly. Fishing South Carolina's Isle of Palms with Capt. J.R. Waits, this redfish ate and olive Crawpin. A Scott X2S 908, SA Sharkskin SW Taper, and Nautilus CCF #8 were the tools in use.
